Playing with others
Community rules
Holdout Squad puts you in a room with other people and lets you talk to them. A few rules keep it good.
Be decent
- No abuse, threats, hate or harassment, in voice or in a name.
- No sexual content, no slurs, and no names that are offensive or impersonate someone.
- Do not share anyone's personal information, yours included. Do not ask other players for theirs.
- Keep the microphone for the game. Do not play music or noise through it.
You are in control
- Mute a player: tap or click their name in the list at the top left.
- Turn your own microphone off: Settings, "Microphone enabled".
- Play with people you know: choose a room name only your friends know.
- Leave: close the game. Nothing is kept about you.
Report a problem
Write to techemayo@indieappstudios.com with the room name, the player's name and the time. We cannot hear what was said, because voice is not recorded, so a short description of what happened helps most.
What we can do: remove a name from the best-runs list, and block a name or room on the server.
The game is for players aged 13 and over. If you are worried about a child's safety, contact the emergency services or your local child-protection service first.
